Booking Fee/Deposit

A non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking, this fee is deducted (in full) from the TOTAL BALANCE payable. £200 deposit for weddings £50 deposit for portraits.

Privacy and Date Protection (GDPR)

We respect your privacy and we will request the minimum amount of information, we only use your personal information to administer your account, and to communicate with you to provide the products and services you have requested from us in order to complete the order/booking.

You can access/modify/request removal of the data we have by getting in touch directly with us.

If you choose to contact us you are therefore consenting to our collection, storage and use of that data as use of communication.

Under no circumstances will we share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payments

Following payment of the booking fee the remaining balance is due to be paid no later than 30 days prior to the date of the wedding or on the day of the portrait photo session.

Special Requests/Coverage

The client understands and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as the photographers' professional expertise determines and that no one photograph will be deemed more important than another. Special requests are not binding instruction, although every effort is made to comply with the client's wishes.

The Photographer

On occasions and without notice it may be necessary for the photographer(s) originally specified to be substituted by another photographer(s), (e.g. due to ill health).

Retouching

Retouching, digital manipulation and artist finishing is available to the client as an optional extra.

Copyright

The Photographer retains the entire copyright in the Photographs and artwork at all times, throughout the World. Where reproduction of photographs and artwork has taken place and settlement has not been made, the Photographer will make such charges to the publisher of those images as falls within the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Any images or copies of images whether stored digitally or otherwise and any computer program including any source or object code, computer files or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically and/or electronically or by any other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of the photographer(s) in writing. Any breaking of this contract will presume a breach of copyright.

Force Majeure or Act of God

The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by either party owing to any cause beyond their control.

Display

The client, by booking us, hereby allows the photographer/s to display any images included in this contract in their studios, portfolios, literature, exhibitions and advertising. No use of the images will be made by the photographer(s) for other commercial reason except with the written permission of the client.

Cancellation

The client may cancel their booking at any time by giving written notice to the photographer(s) but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. Should cancellation be received by the photographer(s) less than four weeks prior to the date of the booking, the client shall in addition pay a sum equal to 50% of the contract value. The said sum shall be payable as compensation as an estimate of the loss the photographer(s) would suffer.

Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Vouchers/Special Offers

A voucher or special offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher or offer.

Booking must be made before the 'voucher expires' date on the voucher. (Please note, this is the date you book, not the photo shoot date itself).

Only one discount voucher can be redeemed per booking whereas multiple cash value vouchers can be used per booking.

Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Discount Vouchers can only be used if a minimum order amount is met (excluding postage costs).

If you would like to place an order that is worth more than your voucher amount, you can pay for the difference at the time the balance payment is due.

Some vouchers can only be redeemed against products or services stated on the voucher itself.

Lancaster Photographers reserve the right to discontinue a voucher at any time or to modify any vouchers' terms and conditions.
